There are families with children that do not have shelter at this time. With the transitional and emergency facilities full, the YWCA did approach the city and county administrators and locate a place for these FAMILIES to put tents up. Patty Murphy, the YWCA transitional housing manager indicated that the GATEWAY program (that is the name of the emergency/transitional shelter program through the YWCA) is in need of sleeping bags, tents, boots, coats, winter gear for these families.
Donations can be taken to the YWCA OFFICE off Broadway (not Secret Seconds stores) and let the office know that the donations are for the GATEWAY program. Brennan was raised at a Quaker church camp in the mountains of central Idaho, where his passion for the outdoors was founded. He attended George Fox University where he met his wife. After receiving his Master's Degree in Teaching, he and his wife moved to Missoula to start a family. Brennan is currently the chemistry teacher and athletic director at Valley Christian School where he is proud to be able to share his love of creation and the true heart of the Creator.
