By Pastor David Larson Have you ever been to the ocean and watched the beauty of God's creation with the waves rolling in and the sound of the surf? Have you ever enjoyed walking on the sand or even digging and making sand castles or sand creations? It can be a relaxing and peaceful time. We recently were at the beach and built a sand castle along with some other creations. The next morning however we discovered there was no sign or remnant that they had ever existed because the tide had wiped the beach clean.
In our lives there are times when there are structures or areas that have been built but are things we would rather not have around. Bad habits, sinful actions and mistakes we have made. Isn't it good to know that the love, mercy and grace of God is like the tide and waves of the ocean that roll in and wipe the slate clean. As we acknowledge our faults before Him, then He comes in and cleanses us from the wrong and gives us a fresh start.
Get alone with Him, ask Him to search your heart and as He shows you things, confess them. All that means is you agree with what He's telling you. Ask for forgiveness and watch Him come take care of it. Walk in forgiveness and newness of life. Let today be a new beginning for you. Walk with Jesus and draw close to Him.
Have an awesome day.
