Kingdom Secrets

By Pastor David Larson
"I've got a secret!"
When you hear that phrase, it usually does something to us. It causes our ears to perk up or we quickly zero in on the person saying it because we don't want to miss out on the inside scoop.
Hey, I've got a secret!

Jesus said, "The secrets of the Kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." He was speaking to His disciples and if we're in relationship with Him then we are His disciples and the secrets of the Kingdom belong to us!

There are two groups of people. The "haves" and the "have nots". Those who see and hear and understand and those who don't. Those who are in the Kingdom and those who aren't.

For those outside, there is no understanding or perception of Kingdom things. They have calloused hearts and usualy when they read the Bible there isn't an understanding of spiritual things. But for those on the inside, Jesus said we were blessed because we see and hear and understand. We will be given more and have an abundance.

You might wonder how to enter the Kingdom. It's only by being born again. You repent or turn from going your own way, doing your own thing, being in rebellion against the living God and turn to Him. Jesus died on the cross for your sins and mine. He paid the penalty so we don't. He made the way for us to come into right relationship with the perfect Father. You acknowledge you have rebelled against Him and then ask Jesus to come and take charge of your life. He does the rest. Surrender to Him and your eyes and ears will be opened in a way you've never experienced. You will enter into life that is truly life.
